San Juan, Puerto Rico – Ford Puerto Rico announced that the second edition of the virtual automobile event Level Up with Ford will take place next Wednesday, December 22, with the participation of renowned gamers, Tatito Tales and Diana Monsters, representing Puerto Rico and Panama, respectively. The friendly rematch between the Puerto Rican youtuber and the Panamanian influencer, will take place in the Gran Turismo Sport videogame platform, and will be broadcast live simultaneously from the Facebook platforms of Ford Puerto Rico and Ford Central America. The broadcast will begin in Puerto Rico at 12:30 pm and in Panama at 11:30 am.

In this edition of Level Up with Ford, Abel Torres, a young Spanish simracer who is a member of Ford Europe’s Team Fordzilla, will also participate as a special guest. At just 10 years old, he won the Spanish Simulation Championship (CES) in the Assetto Corsa Competizione category, racing against drivers of all ages. During the event broadcast, Abel will play with Tatito Tales and Diana Monsters, and answer questions about his career and the trajectory of Team Fordzilla, Ford’s first e-sports team, launched in 2019 with teams from Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the United Kingdom.

“Ford has always been at the forefront of mobility, including the most innovative trends related to vehicle electrification, driver assistance technologies and autonomous driving based on artificial intelligence, among many others. For this reason, we continually explore the synergies between the digital and the real world, recognizing that video games will help us shape mobility in the future,” said Vivian T. Dávila, manager of public affairs and communications for Ford in Central America and the Caribbean.

During the races in the Gran Turismo Sport video game, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4 in 2017, Tatito Tales and Diana Monsters will use high quality and precision 3D Ford models where the design curves, bodywork, and headlamps, among other features, are highlighted. Likewise, they will be able to choose between different circuits that include dirt tracks set in nature, highways and urban areas, perfect to combine according to the type of vehicle.

The first edition of Level Up with Ford took place on National Video Game Day, September 12, 2020. On this occasion, in which Tatito Tales was victorious, the macro-influencers clashed through the motor racing game Forza Motorsport 7. Recognized as one of the best video games in this industry, Forza includes 81 models of Ford vehicles, such as Bronco, F-150 Raptor, Falcon GT, Mustang GT, Shelby GT 350, Cobra, among others.

This initiative was the winner in the category of Best Interaction in Social Media in the 2021 Excel Awards of the Puerto Rico Association of Public Relations.
